1学期終了

　息子の6年生1学期が終了しました。運動会や宿泊研修、同級生のお友達との別れ、色んなことがあって、あっという間というよりは長く濃密に感じた1学期でした。

　息子が逞しく成長する場面にたくさん出会えて、幸せでした。先生にも友達にも恵まれて、小学校最終学年が一番環境が整えられたという思いがしています。このまま中学校3年間もこの学校で過ごせたら良いのに。義務教育学校という9年生の学校もあると知り、こんな良い小学校だったら9年制が良いなと思うこの頃です。最初からそう思えたわけではなく、支援級の保護者の皆さんと協力して改善提案をし、先生方も日々改善をしてくださったからの今だと思います。良い環境は自分たちで作っていくものなのだと、この経験から学びました。

　1学期おつかれさまでした！夏休みは予定が盛り沢山。楽しい夏にしようね。

　My son's first semester of 6th grade has come to an end. It was a semester that felt longer and more intense than a flash because of the many things that happened during the semester, such as the field day, overnight training, and farewells to classmates.

　I was happy to see many scenes of my son's strong growth. He was blessed with teachers and friends, and I feel that the final year of elementary school was the best environment for him. I wish he could have stayed in this school for the three years of junior high school. Now that I know that there is also a 9th grade school called “compulsory education school,” I think that if it is such a good elementary school, I would prefer a 9-year system. I think it was not because I thought so from the beginning, but because I made suggestions for improvement in cooperation with the parents of the support class, and the teachers also made improvements day by day. I learned from this experience that a good environment is something we can create ourselves.

　Thank you for your hard work during the first semester! We have a lot of plans for the summer vacation. Let's make it a fun summer!
